Legacy's 2010 Carnival presentation "Masala" took place at The Anchorage Entertainment Centre, Chaguaramas on October 3rd 2009. This year, after delving into other ethnic roots for their Carnival presentations, specifically Native American heritage with "Hiawatha" in 2007, African heritage with "Passages" in 2008 and Chinese heritage with "Kingdom of the Dragon" in 2009, Legacy portrays concepts of Indian heritage with "Masala" for 2010.

Masala, which is a name given to describe a combination of spices is used in Indian and other South Asian cuisine to add flavour and zing to dishes. Similarly, Legacy portends that "Masala" would indeed add flavour and zing to next year's Carnival.

Within the "Masala" concept include the sections "Masala", "Tassa," "Bollywood," "Taj at Sunset," "Shakra Energy," "Jaipur Market," "Jodphur - City of Blue," "Lotus," "Shanti," "Khus Khus," "Phagwah," and "Pea Chinnar."

The mas, displayed by fresh and seasoned models, was firstly introduced to President Max Richards, Mrs. Jean Ramjohn-Richards and other VIP members for the media/private launch including Legal Affairs Minister Peter Taylor, National Carnival Bands Association (NCBA) vice-president David Lopez, NCBA secretary Wrenrick Brown and former chairman of the National Carnival Development Foundation (NCDF) Donald Little.

The rest of the patrons were able to witness the presentation around midnight. Many seemed to be enthralled by the bikini-clad ladies and the buff males who accompanied them.

Also introduced on stage was the Legacy Phoenix Youth Committee who are engaged in voluntarism such as their annual Christmas Party, Sports and Fun Day and outings for Children's Homes which are organized by the Legacy leadership Mike Antoine and Juliet de la Bastide and the Committee.

Given the good patronage that Legacy received, their 2K10 Carnival looks like it would be a success.
